(September 7, 2023) The Soulhaus is proud to announce today the celebration of its 1-year anniversary and that the company has been honored for the category of Cultural Blog/Website in the 27th Annual Webby Awards. Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet.
“We are honored to receive such prestigious recognition so early in our platform’s journey. At The Soulhaus, every design, creative collaboration and word written is done with intention. To have that effort recognized by a distinguished organization like The Webby Awards, is the highest praise of our hard work and creative vision,” said Jocelyn McCall, The Soulhaus Co-founder and Editor-in-chief.
The Soulhaus is an all-digital publication that features content written and art directed by a BIPOC global collective of resident writers and design creatives. Power in possibilities, inspiration and creative resilience are through-lines for the immersive editorials consisting of thought-provoking personal essays, poetic digital photography exhibits and creator features.
Earning the distinction of Webby Honoree, as recognized by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences is a significant achievement byThe Soulhaus—granted to only the top 20% of all work entered in the 27th Annual Webby Awards.

Today Bauhaus is an expression that is synonymous with design all over the world.
